The grocery list is shared and updates live. When someone opens it to shop, others see a "{name} is shopping" chip so you know it's in use.
Checking items off and edits from different people are merged — you won't overwrite each other. If you're offline in the store, your check-offs queue and sync when you reconnect; see Grocery limits & offline.
