Tags

Updated 2026-09-02

Tags are labels you make up — "Weeknight", "Grandma's", "Ramadan", "Freezer". Open a recipe's tag control, type a tag, and it's created and applied. Tags are household-wide: once created, anyone can apply the same tag to other recipes.

  • Up to 30 characters per tag.
  • A few suggestions (Birthday, Christmas Eve, Movie Night, Busy Day, BBQ, Easy Cleanup) show greyed until you use them — tap to apply.
  • Search matches tag names, so tagging is a fast way to group recipes.

Deleting a tag

Deleting a tag removes it from every recipe that had it. ReciLore shows an Undo option straight after, in case that wasn't what you meant.

Changing tags needs an internet connection.
