Resetting offline data

Updated 2026-09-02

Settings β†’ Account β†’ Reset Offline Data deletes the copy of your household that's cached on this device β€” recipes, meal plans, grocery items, and the sync queue. It does not change anything on the server or affect other devices. Everything re-downloads next time you're online.

When to use it

  • Recipes, meal plan, or grocery look stale or wrong and refreshing doesn't fix it.
  • Images won't load and reopening the app hasn't helped.
  • Sync seems stuck in a bad state.

The warning

If you have changes that haven't synced yet, ReciLore warns you first: "You have unsynced changes… Resetting now will lose them." Choose Retry Sync and wait for it to finish before resetting, so you don't lose that work.

If there's nothing queued, it just asks you to confirm.
