How billing works — the sponsorship model

Updated 2026-09-02

One payer, one household

The subscription is billed to the Apple or Google account that started it. The whole household gets Full while it's active — everyone benefits, one person pays.

Billing doesn't move

Transferring ownership or leaving the household does not hand the charge to someone else. If you started the subscription, you keep being billed until you cancel it in your Apple or Google account — even if you're no longer the owner or no longer in the household. See Cancelling Full.

No duplicates

While a subscription is active it covers the household, and a second person can't start another one for it. If Full lapses, the current owner can subscribe fresh from Settings → Subscription.

Billing questions or an accidental duplicate purchase → Billing problems.

Questions this answers

  • Who gets charged for ReciLore Full?
  • If I transfer ownership or leave, does billing follow me?
  • Can two people in the household both pay?
